It's finally here! The anticipated single teased by Taylor Swift for the past few weeks is officially here and per usual the internet is H-Y-P-E-D. The song entitled Me!, features Brenden Urie of Panic At The Disco and dropped last night at midnight with the official music video. It seems for this era, Taylor is going back to her 1989/Red pop sound as "Me!" seems more upbeat compared to the lead of Taylor's last album, Look What You Made Me Do. The music video features an acid trip of various colors, Taylor's cats, and even Taylor speaking in French at the beginning.

The song has already hit #1 on the iTunes charts (Surpassing viral hit Old Town Road) and already has a total of 22M views on YouTube for it's official music video! That's impressive especially how this late into Taylor's career she's able to pull off insane numbers like this. The lead on iTunes is pretty big as well so ME could debut to a healthy number in sales as well in streams over the next few days. The song has already been sent to radio and is already beginning to gain airplay in some places.

The song is pure fun, it captures the joy and style of Taylor's past hits such as "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "Shake It Off", while being able to stand on it's own. Brendon's vocals help the song stand out, even at times I feel like I'm listening to a Panic At The Disco song mixed with Taylor Swift. I've seen online that some people think it's too childish and that's their opinion as you can't please everyone (People didn't seem to like Look What You Made Me Do when it was released either) but it seems Taylor's fandom is here to support it. Provided how the streaming and sales hold up, this will probably debut somewhere in the Hot 100, a #1 debut is possible, we shall see. Never underestimate the Swifties because they go above and beyond to support Taylor and that includes huge sales as well as streaming numbers. The only issue is Old Town Road is doing absolutely insane in streams right now, nothing is a guarantee but if any artist has a chance to take the top spot from Old Town Road, it's Taylor for sure!
